The Blue Room

The Blue Room, named after the Blue Spruce "Blue", has a queen bed, full bathroom, tv, microwave, mini fridge, coffee pot and seating area.   Vegan breakfast served daily.

Vegan Breakfast

Full vegan breakfast daily includes juice and coffee serve in the main floor dining area.  Enjoy it in the dining room, front porch, back deck or your private room.

Typical continental breakfast includes coconut yogurt with home made granola, banana bread or muffin, or cereal with cashew milk and fruit.  Our cooked breakfast might be a Beyond Meat sausage with waffles & maple syrup, or paninis with vegan cheese, fried onion and sauteed tomato & hashbrown.  Our menus are always changing and always fresh and tasty.

*Non vegans always welcome!  Dancing Trees is a great place to try out some animal-free meals and maybe even learn some new recipes.

Common Areas to Enjoy

Common areas at the B & B include the dining room, the front porch with seating, living room, and the covered back deck with propane fireplace and comfy seating.

Daily Maid Service

Daily maid service will be on hold for now for those staying longer than 1 night.  Extra cleaning protocols are in place, including regular disinfecting & cleaning.  Natural hand sanitizers by Natuwill be on hand in the common areas and with each room booking you will get a free sample to take home.

Laundry Service

Laundry service available at $20 per load.  (Washed, dry, fold)


We can arrange for lunches (boxed to go or in-house), dinners or appetizers.  We have a vast array of options.  Inquire upon booking for more information.

Coming Soon

Consider Dancing Trees for your intimate special occasions for up to 10 people inside and 20 outside - Wedding ceremonies and/or reception, birthday party, rehearsal dinner party, bridal or baby shower, bachelorette or any other private party.  We can arrange an amazing vegan menu for your guests, including appetizers, mains and dessert.  We can even decorate for your special occasion.   Book the whole B&B for your group and enjoy the whole culinary and hospitality experience.  We can cook all or some of your meals for your entire stay, depending on your needs and budget.

Port Stanley & Local Attractions 

Port Stanley is located in Southwestern Ontario on the shores of Lake Erie.  Besides beautiful beaches, the quaint town with the charming lift bridge (that will be operating soon), the town is very walkable, where all year round, you can check out cool galleries, shops, restaurants, boats and benches to sit, rest, relax and take in the views. 

Hiking trails in the area can be found within a short drive.   More detailed information can be found here.  

Elgin County is renowned for bird watching, with many points of interest that offer spectacular experiences. 

Some of the cool venues you can find within a short jaunt in a vehicle include,  the village of Sparta, where you'll find a whole new array of shops and places to eat.  Also nearby is a Steed & Company Lavender Farm, Rush Creek Wines, Quai Du Vin Winery, Pinecroft (Pottery Making, Gift Shop & Restaurant), Wildflower Farms and the town of St Thomas, for breweries, shopping and restaurants.  You can learn more about all of this on the Elgin Tourism website.

Check out the day tours offered by Erie Fun Tours for getaways to some of these local  wineries, breweries and cool venues and events.  They can help you arrange your own tour for your group.

In the warmer months, swim in the blue flag beach,  rent kayaks, jet skis, paddle boards and paddle boats, play golf or take the train ride.
